The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association in conjunction with Dickinson Press began the ECPA | dp Book Cover Award program in 2007 to educate, promote and recognize superior cover design in the Christian publishing industry. 

Finalist covers are selected in four categories with the best cover winner in each category announced each Fall.  The program is built on the foundational research of the Research Institute for Social Change [RISC] which measures consumer buying motivations and expands on the direct relationship between cover design and book sales.

2009 Book Cover Award Submission Process:

• Entries to the Book Cover Award program can be submitted online from August 17-28, 2009.
• The online application will be made available on this site on August 17 and will request the cover image, book description and target audience.
• ECPA member publishers may submit as many book covers as desired with 1-4 covers at $79 each and 5 or more covers at $59 each.
• Finalists will be announced to the industry and media in October with winners announced and honored in November.
