Speaker Bio:
Carolyn Weidmayer is the Director of Subsidiary and International Rights at Zondervan. After joining Zondervan in January 1989, she spent three years in the sales department, before moving to the International licensing of books. Her department currently holds the responsibility for licensing all product lines, including books, Bibles, new media and ZonderKidz, as well as processing all permission requests.
In 1995 Carolyn was one of the founders of IRMA (International Rights Management Association) which provides assistance, education, and networking opportunities for Rights Managers in the Christian publishing industry. She was also one of the authors of the ECPA International Rights Guide. While continuing to serve on the IRMA steering committee, she also mentors other Rights Managers who are new to their positions.
Prior to her time at Zondervan, Carolyn was employed at Spring Arbor Distributors in Ypsilanti, MI, where she was instrumental in the development of their Bible Hotline database and service.
